Who This Is For

If you’re carrying something heavy, you’re in the right place.

The Newly Grieving

You lost someone and the world expects you to be fine by now. You are not fine. That’s allowed, and there’s a way forward that doesn’t rush you past it.

The Ones Still Carrying It

The loss was years ago, but it still surfaces. You’ve never really put it down — and you’re ready to talk to someone who won’t flinch.

Those Wrestling With God

Your faith took the hit along with your heart. You have questions you don’t feel safe asking out loud. Bring them.

Sessions are pastoral and faith-based support drawn from Arien’s work as a minister and chaplain. They are not a substitute for licensed counseling, therapy, or medical care.

What to Expect

Simple, and entirely yours.

  1. Book your time

Choose a slot that works for you. You’ll get a confirmation and a link for the call.

  2. Come as you are

No preparation required. No script. Bring whatever is sitting heaviest — or nothing at all, and we’ll start there.

  3. Talk it through

Thirty minutes of real conversation with someone who has sat with grieving families for years — and lived his own losses.

  4. Leave with something to hold

A next step, a perspective, a prayer, or simply the relief of having said it out loud to someone who understood.

Where this comes from.

Arien writes about grief because he has lived it. God Sees Around the Corner is his memoir of loss, illness, and the faith that carried him. My Two Angels carries that same promise to children. The sessions come from the same place the books do.
